Diagnostic procedure

should I append a 25modifier if a patient comes into our clinic ONLY for toe contusion and the PA orderes a toe xray? I already have a TA modifier to the 73660. Thanks!

You do not add a 25 for xrays - xrays aren't "surgical procedures". Also, 73660 does not require a TA modifier.

OOPS, Sorry, meant to say TC modifier. But thank you for your expertise on No -25 !
