What is the icd9 code for Dry skin ?I use 701.1 dry skin syndrome but physcian disagree saying that syndrome is something bigger.

If you look up xeroderma in the ICD9 index it points you to 701.1 for acquired xeroderma.

Use 782.9: Skin/Integumentary Tissue Symptom NEC......its more appropriate
