Ptosis Surgery Billing
Medicare used to accept: 67904-50 and 15823-51-RT and15823-51-LT as the correct codes for bilateral ptosis repair and blepharoplasty...as of April 1, 2009 Medicare evidently changed the policy; stating modifier 51 is not to be used. But our office cannot find the correct modifier to use.....any suggestions, or help????
