How do I code this? Extramedullary vs intramedullary

Patient had a c6-t2 laminectomy and intradural exploration with gross total excision of 1 spinal chord metastasis, extramedullary and subtotal maximal excision of intramedullary spinal chord metastasis.. My coder coded 63280 and 63285, we were paid for 63285. I believe we can only code one code for neoplasms even though there are many levels. Would love your input.
