coding Omnipaque and Depo medrol

my physician gives ESI injections with isovue 300/50ML - Q9967 and DepoMedrol 40mg/ML - J1030. I am needing to know how to bill and calculate how many units to bill. If he uses one vial per code..Thank you

Depomedrol 40mg/mL is billed as J1030 one time for each 40mg (which is the same as 1mL which is the same as 1cc).


If your physician is using a complete 50mL vial of 300mg Isovue then you would report Q9967 x50
